Industry peers raised £3,500 for automotive industry charity Ben during a golf day at the Forest of Arden in Meriden, near Birmingham, on 20 May.
The event brought together colleagues, customers and friends from across the automotive community for a memorable day on and off the course.
From the opening tee shots to the final putts, there was a brilliant atmosphere, with everyone embracing the opportunity to enjoy a round of golf while supporting a cause that makes a real difference to people in the sector.
The money will help the charity continue its vital work supporting those who work, or have worked, in the automotive industry, as well as their families, through challenging times.
The individual competition was won by Chris Elvidge (pictured), Chairman of Sherwoods Group, whose performance secured the top honour.
Former West Ham footballer Marlon Harewood produced a powerful shot to win the longest-drive competition, while another highlight was the “10 for Ben” hole.
After the golf, players gathered to celebrate the winners, share stories from the course and reflect on a successful event.
Current British Touring Car Champion Tom Ingram presented the prizes, which recognised strong performances and the enthusiasm, generosity, and team spirit shown throughout the day.
