Changan UK has promoted Molly Kelly to head of fleet, reinforcing the company’s commitment to building a strong fleet presence.

Kelly succeeds Richard Chamberlain, who established Changan UK’s fleet function during the brand’s introduction to the UK market.

She said: “I am delighted to take on the role of Head of Fleet at such an exciting time for Changan UK. Since joining the business earlier this year, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of leasing companies, brokers and fleet stakeholders, and I’ve been motivated by the enthusiasm and support we’ve received as we introduce the brand to the UK market.

“I began my journey in the automotive industry at ROI Automotive, where I developed fleet operations, corporate sales and customer engagement. That experience laid the groundwork for a career that has enabled me to work with some fantastic people across the business.

“I look forward to making a positive impact in my new role and would like to thank Changan for the opportunity and confidence they have shown in me.”

Kelly will lead Changan UK’s fleet strategy, overseeing relationships with leasing companies, broker partnerships and corporate customers, while supporting the growth of the company’s fleet and business sales operations as new models join the UK line up.

She joined Changan UK earlier this year as Fleet Manager, where she played a key role in introducing the brand to leasing companies, brokers and major fleet stakeholders across the country.

Nic Thomas, managing director of Changan UK, said: “Molly has made an outstanding contribution since joining Changan UK and has quickly established herself as a trusted and highly respected member of the team.

“Her understanding of the fleet sector, strong commercial relationships and passion for delivering results make her the ideal person to lead our fleet operations as we enter the next phase of our UK growth strategy.

“We are delighted to appoint her as Head of Fleet and look forward to supporting her continued success.”
