Big Motoring World announces new appointments to its board

Big Motoring World has appointed Fraser Pearce as non-executive chairman of the board.

Pearce has experience helping business to manage the priorities of all stakeholders.

He said: “I’m delighted to be joining the board at such an exciting time of growth and record trading performance.

“I look forward to helping to improve the Group’s governance regime and to support the outstanding management team to develop the business further.”

James Cartwright of Freshstream replaces Reza Fardad on the board, whilst David Thomson joins as a non-executive director.

Laurence Vaughan, CEO, said: “I’d like to welcome the new members of the board, and I very much look forward to their support as we continue to build the leading UK car supermarket.”

The business has 11 stores across the UK and last year sold over 60,000 vehicles.

It offers thousands of pre-owned vehicles from popular marques such as BMW, Volkswagen, and Mercedes.

The Big Motoring World store on Calver Park Road, Warrington, is the latest addition.
