TC Harrison Motor Division’s story spans 95 years, from modest beginnings on Sheffield’s Abbeydale Road to employing over 300 people across six regional dealerships.

TC Harrison was founded on 18 May 1931 by Thomas “Cuth” Harrison. Originally known as TC Harrison Service and Repair, the business was run by a 25-year-old Cuth alongside a young apprentice.

Neil Baker, TC Harrison Group managing director, said: “Taking the helm of a business with the reputation and success of the T. C. Harrison Group is a big challenge and a great honour for me. To share in the celebration of 95 Years in business is also a great landmark and a genuine reason for us all to be proud of the company that we work for.

“Evidence indicates that less than 13% of businesses have the organisation, resilience, and financial strength to survive for 95 years, and we should all be thankful to the Harrison family for their trust and support in us all on reaching this landmark.”

During the 1950s and 1960s, TC Harrison continued to build its reputation and broaden its reach.

Cuth Harrison achieved a notable personal milestone by participating in the first-ever World Championship Formula One Grand Prix at Silverstone, driving for ERA and finishing 7th.

Following many successful years operating exclusively as a Ford dealer, the business strategically expanded its manufacturer portfolio.

This progressive approach saw TC Harrison welcome KGM and Omoda Jaecoo to its Peterborough and Stamford dealerships.

TC Harrison Motor Division currently operates dealerships across the Midlands and the East of England, including three official Ford Transit Centres.
