Chery has revealed professional footballer Robert Lewandowski as its global brand ambassador.
Currently, Lewandowski plays for FC Barcelona and also captains the Poland national team. Chery CEO Jeff Zhang has praised him for his ‘hunger for breakthroughs’ and ‘respect for persistence’.
In a LinkedIn post, Zhang said: “For over a decade, Robert has defined excellence on the world’s biggest football stages. He is relentless, disciplined, and always chasing perfection — breaking records, raising standards, and proving that great results only come from consistent hard work and unwavering determination.
“Beyond his iconic status as a world-class athlete, what inspires us most is his grounded spirit and sincere family-first values. Chery International announced its entry into the UK market last year.
The brand’s UK market strategy features UK-optimised Chery models and combines traditional franchise dealerships with emphasis on warranty and aftermarket care.
