Geely bosses visit Gates Automotive’s Waltham Cross dealership

Top brass at Geely Holding Group paid a visit to Gates Automotive Group’s Geely dealership in Waltham Cross.

Gates took on the Geely franchise this year opening the Waltham Cross operation in April.

It has been diversifying its business. Last year it expanded with Omoda and Jaecoo in Woodford and St Albans while taking on BYD in Harlow and Stevenage and acquiring a Peugeot dealership in Braintree

Posting on LinkedIn Gates said: “A landmark visit for Geely | Waltham Cross. Last week, we were delighted to welcome senior leaders from Geely to our dealership in Waltham Cross, as we continue our journey following the opening of our showroom in April 2026.

“It was a privilege to host representatives from one of the world’s leading automotive groups and to share our commitment to delivering an exceptional Geely experience for our customers.

Present on the day were Andy An, CEO of Geely Holding Group; Alex Nan – VP of Geely Auto Group and Mike Yang – MD Geely Auto UK.

Gates is ranked 88 in the Motor Trader Top 200 with annual turnover of £195.2m
