Volkswagen ID.Polo prices for the limited-edition launch models start from £25,555 while series-production Life and Style models will start from £23,945.
Two limited-edition launch models will be available to order in the UK on 30 July: the ID. Polo Life Launch Edition and ID. Polo Style Launch Edition.
Series-production ID. Polo cars are due to go on sale on 10 September, still with state-of-the-art technology and class-leading features.
The vehicle has a two-battery line-up with power outputs of 116, 135 and 211 PS. It boasts an electric range of up to 281 miles (WLTP combined).
All 52 kWh 211 PS variants are eligible for the Government’s £1,500 Electric Car Grant.
The ID. Polo is a supermini hatchback, and the first car to be conceived, developed and brought to market under the combined leadership of Volkswagen CEO Thomas Schäfer and head of design, Andreas Mindt.
The vehicle’s spacious interior offers 441 litres of luggage space with five passengers.
