Toyota has celebrated the work of its highest performing retailers in Europe with the presentation of the 2026 Ichiban Awards.
Three UK centres are among the 47 winners from 34 countries recognised for exemplifying Toyota’s commitment to putting customers first, every day.
The UK winners are Vantage Toyota York, FRF Toyota (Newport) and Vantage Toyota Scarborough.
In addition, Vantage Toyota Scarborough is one of seven European retailers honoured with the Going Beyond Award in recognition of exceptional achievement in customer service.
Yoshihiro Nakata, president and CEO Toyota Motor Europe, said: “our Ichiban winners show what it truly means to earn customer trust every single day.
“They don’t just meet expectations, they anticipate them, shape them and raise the bar for our entire network.
“Their ability to adapt, collaborate and continuously improve is what will define the future of Toyota in Europe.”
The awards presentation took place this week in the Algarve.
