Sherwoods Motor Group is dealing with the fallout from the fire that hit its Washington dealership.
The fire occurred after business hours and no one was in the building at the time.
“Unfortunately, due to the damage caused, our Service and Bodyshop are currently closed while we assess the situation. However, our Van Centre, including Used Vans, MAXUS and Isuzu, remains open to the public.
“Our other sites across Sunderland, Gateshead and Durham remain open, and our teams there are available to support our Washington customers wherever possible. If you still need to book your vehicle in, please get in touch and we will do our very best to help.”
Sherwoods said it was also looking into temporary premises so that it can get back to serving our customers as quickly as possible. We will share more information on this as soon as we have it.
