Renault’s advanced coupe SUV, the Renault Rafale, will be available to order from 8 May and will be priced from £38,195.
The three-model range includes techno E-Tech full hybrid 200 hp (£38,195), techno esprit Alpine (£42,195) and iconic esprit Alpine trim (£44,695).
The 200 hp E-Tech full hybrid petrol powertrain provides a range of up to 683 miles. An E-Tech 4×4 300 hp powertrain will arrive later in the year.
The Renault Rafale will be available in five body colours including two previously unreleased ones: a new matte satin white pearl and a new summit blue tone. The three other colours available are flame red, diamond black and shadow grey.
The Renault Rafale’s design reflects the brand’s new visual language by Gilles Vidal, first seen on the scenic vision concept car.
The Renault Rafale’s front grille is made up of a constellation of small diamonds arranged around the emblem in the middle which stands out against the iron blue or shadow grey hues that appear and disappear in the background depending on where it is viewed from like an optical illusion.
Rafale, a French word that derives from natural energy, wind and is also an aeronautical reference as aviation played an important part in Renault’s history.
