Greenhous Group has appointed chief technology and communications officer Matthew Jones to the Board of Directors of Greenhous Group Holdings, effective 1 September 2026.
Having been an integral part of Greenhous Group for almost 14 years, Jones’ appointment recognises the outstanding contribution he has made to the business.
He said: “Greenhous Group has been an important part of my professional life for almost 14 years, so I am proud to be joining the Board, and I am thankful for the opportunities and value the trust placed in me.
“Technology and communications have an increasingly important role to play in how we operate, how we engage with customers and colleagues, and how we build a stronger and more efficient business.
“I am looking forward to working with the rest of the Board and the wider team as Greenhous continues to develop.”
Jones was instrumental in developing Greenhous’ capabilities in data, technology and automation, before progressing to his current position as CTCO.
He is responsible for Digital Transformation, Marketing, Software Development, Artificial Intelligence, and GDPR and Data Governance.
Digital transformation, data, communications and artificial intelligence will increasingly influence how Greenhous serve their customers, support colleagues, make decisions and ultimately how they gain competitive advantage.
Ensuring that digital and technology capabilities are represented at Board level is increasingly important.
Ashley Passant, managing director of Greenhous Car and Van Division, said: “On a personal note, I would like to thank Matthew for his dedication and commitment to Greenhous over the past 14 years.
“I have every confidence that the experience, perspective and leadership he brings will make a valuable contribution to the Board and to the future direction of our Group.”
