Porsche Retail Group has appointed Harald Horn as managing director of Porsche Retail effective immediately.

Horn brings nearly 19 years of international Porsche experience to the role, most recently as director business development at Porsche Cars Great Britain.

His career with Porsche has also included a range of management positions at Porsche AG in Stuttgart and Porsche Middle East & Africa in Dubai.

Horn replaces Adam Flint who left the company earlier this year to take on the MD slot BMW importer Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors in Saudi Arabia.

Horn said: “I am very proud to be joining Porsche Retail Group and look forward to working closely with our teams across the seven Porsche Centres.

“My focus will be on building on the strengths of the business, delivering an exceptional experience for our customers, and laying the foundations for sustainable success.”

Porsche Retail Group earlier this year celebrated 75 years of Porsche in the UK with an anniversary even attended by 75 women.

In 1951, the Porsche 356 made its British debut at the Earls Court Motor Show in London.
