Gravells faced up to challenging economic environment in 2025 with pre-tax profits down -9% to £3.3m on turnover up 4.3% to £154.2m.
The dealer group represents Kia, Renault and Dacia in South Wales and Hereford, selling 7,793 cars in the period and acquiring a Renault dealership in Hereford.
In accounts filed at Companies House and signed off by MD Jonathan Gravell, it said the performance was ‘satisfactory.’
“The company continues to be in a strong position to act quickly should further acquisitions opportunities arise.
“The director continues to identify growth strategies and improve the efficiency of the business operations.”
Gravells commented on the headwinds encountered by dealers in 2025, including increased competition with new Chinese brands entering the market, volatile used car pricing, high interest rates and government taxation hikes.
“These pressures will continue to create a challenging economic environment going forward,” it said.
