Clive Sutton has moved into a new dealership at Staples Corner NW London to house its new General Motors Specialist Vehicles (GMSV) brands, including Cadillac, Chevrolet and Corvette.
This year the group partnered with GM in the UK to deliver official Cadillac and Chevrolet vehicles both via the dealership in NW London and as a distributor.
The group is in the process of selecting UK dealers for the brands in what it said was a seminal moment for the Clive Sutton business.
The north London dealership also houses its existing specialist cars, VIP Taxi and Mercedes Benz conversions, 67/69 Restomod Mustangs, New Mustang builds and Shelby American Cobras.
The new workshop includes high-capacity five tonne lifts to service Escalades, Silverados and Suburbans
Posting on LinkedIn Clive Sutton said: “We are delighted to welcome skilled technicians from the Porsche network.
“They are already getting trained on GM vehicles but also allow us to repair Porsches from the start with genuine parts as well as deliver official GM service in London.
“It’s been a few years since I built a new dealership. At one point I had eight London dealerships representing Jaguar, Chrysler Jeep, Rover MG and Cadillac/Chevrolet.
“Then I sold out and became an independent international dealer specialising in American imports, high end specialist cars and bespoke builds.
“Continuing my mantra of ‘Service that Never Breaks Down ‘delivering outstanding customer service and enjoying recurring business with some great customers and friends who value old fashioned service rather than the raft of faceless online channels that prevail in this click and collect age.”
