The first wave of Aion UK retail and service sites have opened their doors. The brand is on track to expand its retail footprint to 15 sites by the end of June, with a target of doubling that to 30 by the end of the year.
AION Beverley (Right Car), AION Leeds (JCT600), AION Newcastle (Richard Hardie), AION Newton Abbot (Speedwell), AION Shrewsbury (Sailhouse Cars), AION Slough (Jameel Motors), AION Swansea (Bassetts) and AION Winchester (Martins Group) are open.
Jon Wakefield, managing director of Aion Auto UK, said: “We’ve been preparing for this moment for over 18 months, and it’s a major milestone to see the first retailers go live, welcome customers and offer test drives.

Further sites are coming to Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and Cardiff. Each site will operate retail showrooms alongside service and parts facilities.
Sales teams and aftersales technicians have completed comprehensive brand- and product-specific training programmes.
Customers in areas of the country not covered by these first retail sites can discuss finance quotes and place orders through Aion’s dedicated UK-based concierge customer contact centre.
Routine service, maintenance and repair coverage is available nationwide through an agreement with the AA to use its accredited workshops and mobile technicians.
The brand’s debut model, the AION V electric family SUV, is available for test drive, with first customer deliveries now imminent.
Every AION V will include the Great 8 effortless ownership proposition, which provides eight years of confidence-inspiring cover across the vehicle’s warranty, servicing, roadside assistance and MOT.
Prices start from £36,450 OTR, with flexible PCP offers over 18 – 48 months starting from £379 per month (2.9 percent APR Representative) through AION Financial Services.
