Lepas officially launched in the UK with a VIP celebration event, held at Town Hall by Bottaccio in London’s King’s Cross, culminating in the unveiling of the new Lepas L6 EV.
Over 400 guests viewed the Lepas L6 EV, which will be launched this autumn, as well as early models of the L6 PHEV and L4 EV.

“The launch of LEPAS is another important step in that journey. It brings a new choice to UK customers and demonstrates our commitment to delivering differentiated brand experiences by investing in new brands, new products and new technology for this market.”
Senior executives attended the event, including Zhang Guibing, executive vice president of Chery Auto and President of Chery International, Charlie Zhang, executive vice president of Chery International and Zhai Xiaobing, CEO of Lepas, who travelled from China especially to attend the launch.
There were also presentations from the brand’s Global Chief Designer, Ivan Dulanovic, alongside Gary Lan, CEO of Chery International in the UK.
Senior representatives from the brand’s rapidly growing UK retail network were also among the guests. More than 50 standalone Lepas outlets are already in various stages of fitting out and construction.
Around 60 Lepas dealerships are targeted to be fully operational across the UK by the end of 2026, increasing to 90 by the end of 2027.
The Lepas L6 EV’s 279-mile WLTP range can cover everyday journeys as well as longer trips. The 120kW DC capability provides a 30–80% charge in approximately 22 minutes.
In addition to the free of charge Lucid White, L6 EV features five other pearlescent exterior colours priced at £500 – Phantom Grey, Cosmic Black, Quicksilver, Solar Orange and Supernova Purple.
Every LEPAS L6 EV comes with a 7-year/100,000-mile manufacturer warranty and an 8-year/100,000-mile high-voltage battery warranty.
A 12-year/unlimited-mileage corrosion perforation guarantee and 3-year/unlimited-mileage paintwork guarantee is also included.
