Vertu has opened its first Omoda and Jaecoo dealership. Vertu Omoda Burton and Vertu Jaecoo Burton will operate from the existing site off Nicholson Way, where Citroën sales have ceased.
The dealership will continue to operate as an authorised repair and aftersales site to meet the needs of existing Citroën customers, with new car sales still available at nearby Vertu Derby Citroën.
Martin Maw, branch manager at Vertu Omoda Burton and Vertu Jaecoo Burton, said: “This is a hugely exciting moment for everyone working at the dealership, and on a personal level, I’m proud that the team here has been selected by Vertu to take on the responsibility of opening the first Omoda and Jaecoo site within the Group.
“We are looking forward to introducing people in the local area to a range of models that are proving to be hugely popular thanks to their innovative technology and value for money, whilst also continuing to welcome existing Citroën customers to the dealership for their ongoing servicing needs.”
Vertu Omoda Burton and Vertu Jaecoo Burton will provide customers with the opportunity to explore the full range of models offered by both brands.
The Burton site – which is undergoing a £300,000 refurbishment – will continue to operate under the leadership of Branch Manager Martin Maw and his team.
