Lookers sees 34% surge in profits to £58.5m

Lookers Group turned in a strong performance in 2025 with pre-tax profits up 34% to £58.5m on turnover up 1.5% to £4.4bn.

In results filed at Companies House the group revealed new car sales rose 9% to 105,814 for the period while used car sales increased 2.3% to 76,754 units. Aftersales revenues took a hit due to site closures at the group, down 5%.

“Aftersales continued to be a stable source of profit, however 2025 saw a decrease In revenue of 5%, due to site closures and structural changes in the UK vehicle parc,” it said.

In early 2025, an agreement to roll out the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence platform across all dealerships was reached with Pinewood.

Rollout began in H2 2025 and will continue throughout 2026 The project 1s expected to be largely completed by the end of 2026

Lookers now operates 137 trading locations across the UK and Ireland, including car, van and motorcycle dealerships. The group represents 39 OEMs.

Lookers became part of Global Auto Holdings in late 2023 and subsequently delisted from the London Stock Exchange.
