Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has opened UK order books for the new Transporter eHybrid, with prices starting from £38,1551 or £439 per month on Contract Hire.

The Transporter eHybrid pairs a 2.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and 11.8kWh battery, which together deliver 232PS of combined power through CVT transmission and a pure electric range of up to 35 miles, depending on bodystyle.
The battery is recharged 0-100% (via a 3.7kW AC charger) in just 4.5 hours.
The new Transporter eHybrid is also available in Kombi and Shuttle derivatives, with the latter emitting less than 95g/km CO2 combined WLTP CO2 (weighted).
A choice of wheelbases and trim levels allows customers to select a vehicle that suits their individual commercial and personal needs.
The entire Transporter line-up, including the new eHybrid variant, includes Volkswagen’s enhanced warranty and service plan, the 5+ Promise, at no extra cost.
This comprises five services – three services for electric models – three MOTs, a five-year Warranty and five years’ Roadside Assistance.
