SG Petch takes on Mazda franchise in York to bring tally to four

SG Petch has opened a new Mazda dealership in York. York becomes SG Petch’s fourth Mazda site alongside Darlington, Durham and Middlesborough.

The group is ranked 74 in the Motor Trader Top 200 Dealer Groups with annual turnover of £234.4m.

The company represents Abarth, Fiat, Hyundai, Kia, Kia PBV and Mazda. It has also pushed into Chinese representation and now holds franchises for BYD, Chery, Jaecoo, Lepas and Omoda

Created in 1977 it has seven dealerships across the North East and Yorkshire regions.

SG Petch, managing director, Steve Petch, said: “I’m pleased we can now offer Mazda to our customers in York.

“We already represent the brand in Darlington, Durham and Middlesbrough, and remain one of the oldest Mazda dealerships in the UK.

“The new Mazda facility has a great location and customers for Mazda in the area can expect an exceptional experience across sales, service and parts.”
