Renault is returning to London’s Oxford Street with maison renault showcasing the first UK public appearance of the 555 hp Renault 5 Turbo 3E at Future Stores from 18th–26th April.
The 555 will join Renault electric vehicles, including the Renault 5 E-Tech electric, Renault 4 E-Tech electric and the new Renault Twingo E-Tech electric.
Only 1,980 examples will be made – a reference to the year that the first Renault Turbo was produced.
It is said to be the most powerful production car that Renault has ever made, its pure-electric drivetrain giving it a top speed approaching 170 mph.
