Lotus’ new Hethel Performance Hub (HPH) based on the group’s HQ in Norfolk has been officially opened by Chris McDonald MP, Industry Minister.
The hub builds on Lotus’ engineering, manufacturing and testing capability at Hethel while creating new opportunities for partners to collaborate, develop and manufacture at the site.
The hub forms part of a wider programme of investment and development in the area,
It continues to support a range of UK and international collaborations, spanning component supply, engineering programmes and full vehicle development activities.
One group, Charge Holdings is relocating its full operations, including Charge Cars and wider group vehicle programmes to Hethel.
And Zenos Cars has signed Heads of Terms with Lotus Cars, with a view to using the Hethel Performance Hub as a centre for production of vehicles into the future.
DR Automobiles is also a confirmed partner with further details of the confidential project to be announced later this year.
