Mazda UK has unveiled a new selected approved used car programme.
All cars purchased via the programme include multi-point vehicle inspections, 12-months unlimited mileage warranty, 12-months European roadside assistance, accident aftercare and £99 refundable reservation fee.
Laura Brailey, sales director at Mazda Motors UK, said: “Our focus is on helping retailers access more quality stock while giving customers a compelling reason to buy through them.
“Mazda Selected provides that reassurance through rigorous vehicle preparation standards and a comprehensive ownership package.”
Hendy Group’s Tunbridge Wells site was the first to go live in the UK, with the rollout across the network due to be completed by the end of the summer.
Mazda’s focus on used cars has seen the volume of vehicles it sources from Motability, on behalf of its dealers, rise from 24% in 2024 to 42% in 2026.
Brailey said: “The increased availability of end of contract Motability vehicles will help retailers secure the stock they need.
“We have to ensure our dealer network can retain as much of this stock as possible; ultimately our ambition is to strengthen the entire ownership journey, whether a customer is purchasing a brand-new Mazda or choosing one of our approved used vehicles.
“The profitability of our retailers is paramount which is why we have a programme to grow the number of retail showroom units sold through each site and used cars are a key part of that ambition.”
