A fire at a Manheim Vehicle Services site in Bruntingthorpe on Friday put the centre out of action until this morning when it reopened for business.
“Following Friday’s fire at our Bruntingthorpe Manheim Vehicle Services site, the site reopened today.
“We are keeping our customers updated and working closely with the fire service to support their investigation. The support we have received from all our customers has been gratefully received,” said a Manheim spokesperson.
“Our priority throughout has been the safety of our people, all of whom were safely evacuated with no injuries. We are also grateful to the local community for their patience during the disruption on Friday.”
The fire at the former airfield in Leicestershire was brought under control by the fire service has said.
Graham Vaux, area manager at Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, said the service was called just after 08:00 BST on Friday to a fire in a warehouse that was being used as a spray booth.
