Grainger Motor Group has acquired Chiswick Honda from Norton Way Motors.

The acquisition adds two further sales locations to Grainger Motor Group, with the Chiswick Honda Cars and Motorcycles franchises growing its network to 23 sales outlets, employing 640 people across Hertfordshire, East Anglia and now West London.

Harry Grainger, managing director of Grainger Motor Group, said: “Chiswick Honda is a special dealership, not only for Honda but also for Neal and me personally, having helped build it up from the day it opened its doors back in 2001.

“To have the opportunity to return to Chiswick, this time as part of Grainger Motor Group, is something we are both very proud of.

“The acquisition represents an exciting next step for GMG as we continue to grow our presence across the UK.

“With 23 sales locations and a 640-strong team, we are entering West London – an area we know well, but a new market for the Group – complementing our established presence across Hertfordshire and East Anglia. The addition of Honda Motorcycles also gives us the opportunity to develop a new area of the business alongside our existing Honda car operations.

Grainger said it is on track to exceed £425m in turnover in 2026, up from £321m in 2025, and has set its sights on reaching £500 million in turnover by 2027.

Growth has been driven by a combination of strategic acquisitions, new franchise opportunities and continued investment across its existing network.

Neal Grainger, managing director of Grainger Motor Group, added: “Chiswick is a very special dealership and one that holds a lot of history for us. Returning to the site is a fantastic opportunity, particularly as we can do so with GMG and alongside the Honda team.

“We have ambitious plans for Grainger Motor Group, but our approach remains the same as we continue to grow: to invest in our people, our customers and our businesses, while respecting and building on the strong foundations already in place.”
