Cotswold Motor Group turned in a positive performance for the year to 31 December 2025 with pre-tax profits up 49% to £4.6m on turnover up 7.9% to £241.4m.
The company, which was established in 1995, has BMW and MINI Retail Centres in Cheltenham and Hereford and BMW Motorrad in Cheltenham.
It also operates an Approved Bodyshop and PDI Centre in Tewkesbury.
Cotswold has been expanding beyond its BMW and Mini base. In 2026 it took on the Geely franchise, based at its Tewkesbury Road refurbished centre in Cheltenham, which also houses its approved used car business Cotswold Group Select.
In accounts filed at Companies House it said its vehicle sales departments have seen an increase in departmental profits thanks to a strong year on used car sales.
New car sales units were down 5% and used car sales units increased by 31%.
Aftersales profitability was flat compared to the previous year and there was a reduction in new car profitability due to the switch to the agency model for Mini.
“The change in sales process and systems caused some disruption within the MIN] team however they navigated this well and still returned a strong result.”
