The Jaecoo 7 delivered the greatest potential profit for dealers at Carwow’s daily online auctions in the third quarter of 2026.
Carwow looked at the differences between actual selling prices at auction and cap ‘Retail’ valuations to determine likely dealer profit, before fees and prep costs.
Jaecoo’s 7 topped the rankings with a projected margin of £2,916, while the Volvo XC40 placed second with a potential profit of £2,676.
Third was the Kia Sportage (£2,672), followed by the Audi Q3 (£2,660) in fourth and the BMW 3-Series (£2,617) in fifth.
The marques offering the greatest profit were Audi in first place, with an average of £2,695, Lexus (£2,596) and Mazda (£2,558). Audi and Lexus have retained their positions in the top three rankings for three successive quarters.
Chris Healey, head of commercial at Carwow, said: “Audi and Lexus consistently appear in our quarterly lists of ‘most profitable’ brands, providing a compelling reason for dealers sourcing premium stock to invest in these marques for their forecourts.
Carwow auctions give dealers access to more than 25,000 vehicles per month and have added more than 244,000 vehicles to dealer forecourts in the last two years.
