Eastern Western continues to expand with Chery, poised to open its fifth dealership with the brand.
It currently operates Chery at Dundee, Straiton, Newbridge and Stirling and is soon to open a business in Fife.
Andrew Oag, franchise director posted on LinkedIn: “We are opening Chery in Fife and are looking for sales executives to join us.”
Eastern Western first took on the Chery franchise in Ausgust last year, opening the first outlet in Dundee.
At the time Eastern Western group managing director Keith Duncan said: “We’ve been a little cautious about jumping headlong into the Chinese car revolution.
“Some of the new brands will be a rip-roaring success and some will fail.
“We have waited to partner a brand whose cars look great, are stuffed with equipment, offer a fabulous 7-year warranty, have unrivalled quality and importantly…are sold at a price-point that’s hard to ignore. Oh..and a brand whose name I can pronounce.
“I am delighted to be opening our first CHERY dealership at Riverside Drive in Dundee. Barnetts Chery will trade alongside Volkswagen, Nissan and Mazda at Dundee’s most iconic car retailing location.”
Eastern Western is ranked 22 in the Motor Trader Top 200 Dealer Groups with annual turnover of £920.8m.
