The Aion UT electric supermini is priced at £28,950, with order books opening in September.
The UT will make its public debut at the British Motor Show in Farnborough from 21 to 23 August alongside the Aion V SUV, the brand’s first model that launched earlier this year.

The UT has a 60kWh battery which delivers 268 miles of electric driving.
The UT has bespoke modifications to the springs, dampers and bump-stops, as well as a revised anti-roll bar.
The Aion Great 8 Promise provides an eight-year warranty, eight years’ servicing, eight years’ roadside assistance and MOT.
