Lookers Motor Group is now representing Leapmotor in Liverpool and Chester.
The Leapmotor range will initially include the T03, a compact fully electric city car, the D-Segment C10 SUV and the C-Segment B10 SUV.
The range is set to expand further later this year after the recent arrival of the B05 hatchback with the B03X compact SUV.
Leapmotors now has about 80 dealers in the UK, the majority of them working through Stellantis network brands.
It plans to have 100 by the end of 2026, going outside the core Stellantis network to recruit new dealers.
In October 2023, Stellantis became the single largest shareholder of Leapmotor buying a 21% stake.
At the same time, Leapmotor International was launched as a 51% Stellantis and 49% Leapmotor joint venture with exclusive rights for the sale and manufacturing of Leapmotor products outside Greater China.
In the year to July Leapmotor has sold 8,375 cars in the UK, giving it a market share of 0.65%.
Lookers operations director, Dave Graham, said adding Leapmotor would give its customers greater choice.

Leapmotor was founded in 2015 and has the backing of Stellantis.
Through its Lookers and Charles Hurst brands, Lookers represents brands in the UK and Ireland across 150 franchised dealerships.
