The National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) and Capital City College have partnered to offer internships and work placement opportunities for students in September this year.
Students will develop valuable workplace skills while gaining insight into the automotive retail sector and the role NFDA plays in supporting franchised vehicle retailers across the UK.
Sue Robinson, Chief Executive of NFDA, said: “NFDA is committed to supporting the development of future talent.
“These placements will allow students to gain practical workplace experience, develop transferable skills and learn more about the automotive sector from a unique perspective.”
Students will have the opportunity to work across business functions including communications, public affairs, events, membership services and policy.
The NFDA will provide practical experience while helping students build an understanding of work within dealerships such as vehicle sales, Finance & Insurance, plus Business and Operational Administration.
Capital City College is one of London’s largest further education providers, supporting thousands of learners across its campuses with vocational and academic programmes.
The partnership will provide students with valuable experience while offering greater awareness of the diverse career opportunities available in the automotive industry.
