Volkswagen was rated the top brand in the UK in a new YouGov UK Automotive Rankings report.
Volkswagen got an index score of 26.1 closely followed by Toyota in second place with a score of 24, Mercedes-Benz (23.1), Volvo (21.1), and Audi (21.1).
Ford was in sixth slot with a score of 20.2m, followed by BMW (18.4), Honda (17.1), Porwsche (15.7) and Bentley (15.6).
The Index score is a brand health measure that is a composite of Impression, Value, Quality, Reputation, Satisfaction, and Recommend metrics.
The most improved car brand year-on-year was which recorded the highest increase to Index score among the UK public (+1.5 points).
The UK’s most considered brands among new car buyers puts Japanese manufacturer Toyota as the number one choice, with 33.9% considering the brand.
MG was named the Most Improved Automotive Brand for Customer Satisfaction.
The found that MG recorded the largest year-on-year increase in net customer satisfaction among all automotive brands tracked in the UK, improving by 8.5 points over the previous 12 months.
