Vertu has been shortlisted for the Best Motor Dealer in Scotland award for the second time at Scotland’s business Awards.
The retailer picked up the accolade last year when Vertu Toyota Ayr won just one year after the £5 million facility opened for business.
Mark Littlejohn, General Manager of Vertu Toyota Glasgow, said: “We’re delighted to have been nominated for Best Motor Dealer in Scotland award, particularly when the nomination has come from a member of the public.
“It is recognition for all the hard work that goes in from everyone working at the dealership, and we look forward to flying the flag for Vertu in November at the national final.”
The Scotland’s Business Awards can only be entered via customer nomination.
Finalists are evaluated through mystery shopping visits, site inspections, and customer voting, with scoring based on visibility, accessibility, and customer service.
Vertu Toyota Glasgow, located on Kennishead Road in Darnley, was nominated in the Glasgow heats where it secured a place in the national final, which will take place in November.
The successful heat victory for the Glasgow team means Vertu will now have two dealerships in the running to win the 2026 award as Vertu Toyota Ayr also bids to defend its title.
Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu, said: “Securing a place in the national final of the Scotland’s Business Awards reflects the standards that we set in our dealerships, and is particularly pleasing when the nomination has come from the public.
“Good luck to Mark and his team in November, and fingers crossed for a repeat of the success we enjoyed with our Ayr site twelve months ago.”
