Robert Bosley has been appointed business development manager at Omoda and Jaecoo.
Bosley joins from Santander Consumer (UK) where he was regional finance development manager.
In a post on LinkedIn, he said: “Today marked my first visit to the office, where I collected my phone, laptop and getting ready to hit the ground running.
“I’m really looking forward to getting started, meeting the wider team, building strong relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of the brand.
“A new chapter begins, and one I’m genuinely excited to be a part of!”
In Q1, Jaecoo alone shifted 22,789 units. This quarterly figure is approaching the 28,232 Jaecoo achieved in 2025 overall. Over the same 2026 year-to-date period, Omoda registered 12,324.
Within those quarterly UK figures the Jaecoo 7 was the top-selling model, selling 17,668 units.
Only the Kia Sportage (17,835) and Ford Puma (20,339) were ahead in UK sales. The Jaecoo 7 outsold longstanding favourites – the Nissan Qashqai (15,668) and the Vauxhall Corsa (12,788).
Customers in the UK can purchase the Omoda 7, Omoda 9, Omoda E5, Omoda 5, Jaecoo 7, Jaecoo 5, Jaecoo E5, and the Jaecoo 8.
Omoda and Jaecoo are the Chinese car brands with the biggest increase in consumer awareness during the last year.
