Porsche Retail Group last week celebrated 75 years of Porsche in the UK with an anniversary even attended by 75 women.

In 1951, the Porsche 356 made its British debut at the Earls Court Motor Show in London, attracting attention for its sleek design and rear-engined performance.

Porsche’s presence in the UK grew over the following decades. The first right-hand-drive Porsche 911 arrived in 1965 and the brand expanded from a single model to today’s range of six model lines.

The UK is now Porsche’s fourth-largest market, supported by 47 Porsche Centres across the country.

“Last week we were proud to bring together 75 driven women to celebrate 75 years of Porsche in the UK,” it posted on LinkedIn.

“Hosted at the breathtaking Wilderness Reserve in rural Suffolk, the event began with a relaxed buffet lunch before guests set off on a lively hunt across the estate, solving clues and puzzles in the race for the coveted Wilderness Axe!

As evening fell, guests gathered in the forest for a Woodland Fire Feast, complete with open fire, incredible food, live music and drinks beneath the trees in a rather unique teepee!

“Alongside this, we celebrated the iconic 911 with optional test drives and previewed the brand new Cayenne Electric during our Cayenne, Cocktails & Canapés evening at Blythe Barn.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful customers and staff from across Porsche Retail Group who joined us and made this experience truly unforgettable!
