Service plan provider RAMP has appointed Amanda Massey as managing director.
Massey brings more than 30 years’ experience in automotive, aftersales and insurance, having held senior roles at BookMyGarage, GardX Group and Mapfre Abraxas.
Ramp is a subsidiary of Cambria Investments Holdings, which was created by Cambria Automobiles CEO Mark Lavery to develop automotive businesses in the UK.
Maintenance are firmly established as a means of keeping customers engaged with dealers, building aftersales and servicing volumes and boosting customer satisfaction.
Maintenance plans are becoming an increasingly important tool for keeping customers engaged with the dealership through servicing, MOTs and ongoing vehicle care, helping retailers remain front of mind when customers are ready to replace, upgrade or finance their next vehicle.
As managing director, Massey will lead the company’s next phase of growth, building relationships with franchised and independent dealer groups while also expanding into service centres, tyre retailers, and finance-sector partnerships.
Massey said: “What attracted me to the business was the opportunity to develop a product that genuinely helps retailers improve customer loyalty while also generating additional revenue across the entire ownership journey.
“RAMP already has a strong proposition, but there is significant scope to further develop the product and build a best-in-class maintenance platform for dealers, partners and consumers alike. I’m joining the business at a very exciting stage in its growth.
Alongside dealer partnerships, RAMP is also targeting growth through broader aftermarket relationships, including finance companies and national service operators.”
