Honda Motor Europe a new service-activated warranty (SAWA) programme for the United Kingdom.
The scheme will cover all Honda automobiles for a maximum period of eight years (or 100,000 miles) from the date of initial registration.
To take advantage of the new comprehensive warranty, customers are simply required to follow the scheduled service and maintenance plan using Authorised Honda Retailer and service parts. In doing so, the original three-year warranty is automatically extended by a further twelve-month period, up to a maximum of eight years or [100,000 miles].
Tied to the product, rather than owner, the warranty is transferable at the time of any onward sale, ensuring that approved used Honda cars are available with the same long-term peace of mind. The warranty offers pan-European coverage.
