The Polaris Slingshot is about to enter its 10th year on the market, and Polaris plans to continue its tradition of making ongoing updates to the wild three-wheeler.

The latest 2025 model, unveiled on Thursday, introduces a host of changes aimed at improving style, comfort, and drivability, and the first examples are scheduled to reach dealerships in March.

The 2025 Slingshot is offered as S, SL, SLR, and R models, with the biggest change over the previous year being the new front-end design, which delivers a cleaner appearance while still embracing an in-your-face look. There is also more differentiation between the various models, including a new lower splitter for the flagship R model. The other models feature an extra inch of ground clearance at the front thanks to the new design.

A few mechanical changes have also made the cut, including a small bump in power, as well as new tuning for the available automatic transmission, which comes with paddle shifters. A 5-speed manual remains the standard transmission option. Polaris said it also retuned the suspension for improved handling.

All Slingshots continue to be powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, which for 2025 is rated at 180 hp in the S and SL models, up from 178 hp previously, and 204 hp in the SLR and R models, up from 203 hp.

In the cabin, the 2025 model year brings larger 8.0-inch speakers in the side panels to deliver increased volume and bass. The speakers are part of a Stage 2 Rockford Fosgate sound system, which is standard on the SLR and R and available on the other models. The setup can also be retrofitted to Slingshots dating back to 2021. A pair of roof options introduced in 2022—the Vented Sport Hood and Excursion Top—remain available.

Further up, the SLR starts at $31,399 and adds the Stage 2 Rockford Fosgate audio system with 8.0-inch speakers and a tinted windscreen, among other features. The R flagship starts at $34,999 and builds on the SLR by adding a Brembo brake package, forged roll hoops, and more. All prices exclude an unspecified destination fee.
