Hendy Foundation supports 11 new local charities

Hendy Foundation, the independent charity affiliated with Hendy Group, is sponsoring 11 new local charities.

In its latest funding round, Hendy Foundation has decided to support charities across various counties. In Kent, Hendy will support Mid Kent Community Radio and Domestic Abuse Volunteer Support Services DAVSS.

In Dorset, the dealer will support Life Education Wessex, Bournemouth Food Bank, Dorset Mind, and Wild and Free Therapy.

The Aldermoor Community Farm and PEDALL Inclusive Cycling are based in Hampshire.

Additionally, Hendy is supporting City Gate Community (East Sussex), Estuary Leage of Friends (Devon) and The Sampson Centre for MS (Surrey).

The latest phase of donations takes Hendy Foundation’s charitable commitments in 2024 to over £50,000, benefitting 26 charities.

Since its launch in 2019, Hendy Foundation has granted over £350,000 to more than 200 charities. All charities are local to Hendy Group’s car dealerships across Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey and Kent.

On average, Hendy Foundation receives between 50 and 100 applications for each funding round, two to three times per year.
