Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS) UK has appointed Mark Pain as Product and Change Delivery Director.

The newly expanded role brings together product delivery, change and transformation under a single leadership structure, aligning all change and delivery activity across VWFS to ensure a clearer focus on customer outcomes and operational effectiveness.

Pain said: “This role presents a meaningful opportunity to strengthen the focus on delivering the outcomes that matter most to our customers.

“That means managing change effectively across a diverse portfolio of large Programmes, time-boxed projects and long-lived Product Teams, taking a strategic, joined-up approach, so we are constantly thinking about the impact on our customers and partners of any change we deliver.

“The creation of a single, aligned leadership structure, supported by a highly experienced team, will help us continuously improve the way we work, set clearer priorities and strengthen collaboration across this critical area of the business.”

With nearly 30 years’ experience in the automotive and financial services sector, he joined VWFS in 2010.

During this time, he has held roles across the organisation including senior leadership roles in IT as well as digital and business change.

Prior to VWFS, his career included a range of roles within Mobilize Financial Services as well as experience in Fleet Management and General Insurance.

Now, he will lead a unified approach to managing customer demand, strengthening alignment across teams and supporting the delivery of seamless, stress-free customer experiences.

Pain will be supported by a dedicated leadership team which also includes three new appointment of, Steve Charters, Head of Ways of Working, and Katie Warrington and Jack Baker, Heads of Product Delivery.
