Alison Hicks, Aftersales Manager at Hyundai Peterlee, and Vikki Chauntry-Brooks (pictured), CMA General Manager at Nissan Derby, have been shortlisted for the Automotive 30% Club’s 2026 Inspiring Automotive Women Awards.
Hicks has played a key role in developing her team and delivering consistent performance at Hyundai Peterlee. Chauntry-Brooks has led operations at Nissan Derby with a focus on inclusive leadership and long-term growth.
Chauntry-Brooks said: “I’ve been fortunate to work with teams who care deeply about what they do, and the fact it is the people who work with me day-in day-out that have put me forward for this award is what makes this recognition so meaningful.
“It’s a reminder that progress comes from the everyday conversations and decisions we make.”
Hicks said: “It was a very pleasant surprise to be nominated by my colleagues and know they appreciate the effort I put in.
“Aftersales, like much of the automotive industry, is very male dominated and it’s important that initiatives like the 30% club continue to shine a light on women in the industry so that others can see it is a career for everyone.”
The recognition follows last year’s success for Vertu, when Nicola Thompson and Jessica Montgomery were named among the winners.
Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu, said: “Alison and Vikki are exceptional leaders who bring energy, integrity and a deep understanding of the business to everything they do. Their shortlisting is a reflection of the impact they’ve had on their teams and the wider organisation.
“It’s encouraging to see their work recognised by the Automotive 30% Club, which continues to challenge the industry to think differently about leadership and opportunity.”
