Vertu has expanded its BYD network with the launch of a new dealership in Morpeth, situated adjacent to its existing Ford site on Coopies Lane.
The redeveloped site – Vertu’s second BYD dealership in the North East – features a suite of modern facilities tailored to BYDs ever-increasing range of new vehicles, including dedicated EV servicing bays, rapid charging stations, and a digitally enhanced showroom experience.
The introduction of BYD to Morpeth is the latest phase of Vertus expanding relationship with the manufacturer, and widens the network of sites catering for those looking to move away from traditional fossil-fuel powered vehicles.
Vertu BYD Morpeth will be overseen by newly appointed dales manager Adam Prudhoe, who has moved from Vertu’s Ford Durham location to take up the role.
The dealership has created three new roles, alongside a training programme to equip Ford service centre colleagues with the skills to support BYD customers.
