Vertu has appointed Andy Verrall as its new franchise director for BMW and MINI.

He moves into the position after BMW/MINI Operations Director Anthony Masterson took up one of two Managing Director roles at the start of the year.

Andy Verrall, Vertu BMW Franchise Director, said: “I’m proud to be given the opportunity to take up the Franchise Director role for two key brands in the Vertu portfolio.

“I’m looking forward to working with our dealerships to ensure that we maintain the highest of standards and continue to provide customers with the best possible experience.”

Verrall will also oversee Vertu’s four BMW Motorrad dealerships – in Exeter, Rotherham, Shipley and Sunderland – as well its sole Ducati site.

Having worked in the automotive sector since 1998, he brings vast experience to the role, which includes working alongside the BMW and MINI brands for a number of years.

He held the role of Divisional Sales Director for the BMW and MINI franchises since joining Vertu in mid-2024.

Robert Forrester, Vertu Chief Executive, said: “We’re delighted to appoint Andy as our new BMW Franchise director, particularly given his extensive knowledge of working with the brand in recent years.

“This is a key appointment for us as part of our new management structure and I’m confident that Andy is the ideal person to carry on the fantastic work that Anthony has done overseeing the BMW and MINI brands.”
