Fast-expanding Steer Automotive Group has acquired Accident Repair Centre Group (ARC Group) bodyshop chain in the South West of England.

ARC, established in 1991, has grown into a network of repair centres located in Bristol, Chippenham, Weston-Super-Mare and Swindon. The move by Steer is the latest in a string of acquisitions in recent years.

The business has approvals from 23 carmakers, including BMW MINI, Toyota Lexus, Volvo/Polestar, Stellantis, and VW.

Richard Steer, chief executive of Steer Automotive Group, said: “We are thrilled to welcome ARC Group into the Steer family.

“Their commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service mirrors our own values, making this acquisition a natural fit.

“Together, we will strengthen our presence in the South West and explore exciting new opportunities for collaboration and growth.

“Most importantly, we look forward to working with the talented ARC team as we continue to deliver exceptional automotive repair services.”
