“I offer my congratulations to all the award winners on the night. The event has once again showcased the best within our industry and exemplified the contributions made in our ever-evolving sector.”
Six awards were handed out starting with the Community Star Award highlighting remarkable contributions to local communities.
Three businesses were successful: LM Motor Company, Grant’s MOTs and Jim Reid Vehicle Sales & Services.
The Lifetime Achievement Award went to 94-year-old Morrison Sutherland. Starting his career in the motor trade in 1951 after a period of National Service, Sutherland regaled the audience with some stories of his colourful career.

The Rising Star Award went to Jessica Graham Bowden who was recognised by her peers as an outstanding newcomer with five years or less in the automotive sector.
Raising money for charity was also an important part of the evening.
The guests heard from three charities: Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance, Megan’s Space, and SNAC (Scottish Network for Arthritis in Children), before participating in an auction and raffle, which raised vital funds for the charities.
