Smart UK has appointed Louise O’Sullivan to the role of CEO.
She joins smart UK having most recently served as deputy managing director and commercial director at Volvo Car Financial Services UK.
In this role she led commercial transformation, supported the transition to agency models and played a key role in governance and leadership at senior management level.
O’ Sullivan was previously an executive director at Renault Group UK, including marketing director and network operations director, where she was responsible for multi-brand strategy, electric vehicle programmes and dealer network performance across the UK and wider Northern Territory.
“I am delighted to be joining smart at such an exciting time,” said O’Sullivan.
“The brand is going from strength to strength, with an award-winning model range, including the #5’s recent crowning as What Car?’s Family Electric SUV of the Year – and the upcoming introduction of the new #2.
“I look forward to leading the company’s continued growth in the UK over the years to come.”
O’Sullivan replaces former UK CEO Jason Allbutt, who returns to Mercedes-Benz after two years in the role.
