SEAT pre-registered more cars in December than all to the other brands combined, according to figures published by the Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders this week.
The brand pre-registered 573 cars for the month according to the data with worth £9,229,237 gross revenues.
Figures released last month for full year 2025 show Seat registered 1,400 cars in December, down 36%. In the full year it registered 23,015 cars, down 37.4% in a market up 3.47%.
In the pre-registered table for December Renault did 17, Dacia 14, Volkswagen 9, Audi 6 and Skoda 4.
Under the terms of The Supply of New Cars Order 2000, a pre-registered car is a new car which a supplier has caused to be registered before the terms and conditions of its supply to an end-user have been agreed. It does not include a car retained for a period of at least three months such as dealer demonstrators.
