NFDA hosts annual parliamentary dinner at House of Lords

The National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) is hosting its annual parliamentary dinner at the House of Lords this evening.

This dinner will bring together senior figures from across the UK automotive retail sector with key political stakeholders.

NFDA Chief Executive Sue Robinson said: “Our annual parliamentary dinner is a valuable opportunity to bring franchised dealers and policymakers together.

“As the automotive industry continues to undergo significant change, constructive engagement with Government is essential to ensure that the views and experiences of retailers and consumers across the UK are understood.”

Chief Executives and Managing Directors from leading dealership groups are attending the event.

Discussions will centre around key issues facing dealerships and the wider automotive sector.

Regulatory change, the transition to zero emission vehicles and workforce challenges are key topics of discussion.

The evening will also highlight the significant investment made by retailers and the growth of training and job opportunities on the retail side of the industry, reinforcing the sector’s long-term commitment to supporting local economies and skills development.
