Mitchell Group in Chester, headed up by managing director Mark Mitchell, attracted an attendance of 1,000 of its customers to Chester Cathedral for its annual Sing Your Heart Out informal carols events.
“With music by Lou Fellingham and her band and a warm and humorous Christmas message from former Blue Peter presenter, Gemma Hunt, this made for the start of many of our customers’ Christmases.
“This is the 17th year we have organised the event and as far as we know, it is the biggest corporate carol event in the UK,” said Mitchell.
The event raised £8,500 for the annual shoebox to Eastern Europe appeal.
“It made for yet another memorable evening in one of our nation’s most ancient Cathedrals.
