Motor Auction Group (MAG) has announced four new hires who will be running its new £5m purpose-built LCV auction site in Goole, Yorkshire.
Geoff Flood joins as centre manager, Gemma Stokes has been appointed assistant centre manager, Jaqueline Swaine is MAG’s vendor and buyer manager, and Samantha Wray has been appointed vendor manager.
Group operations director, Justin Lane, said: “All our teams are working closely to seamlessly transfer our weekly LCV sale over from our Bawtry site to Goole for the end of March.
“We continue to put the finishing touches to the new site’s refurbishment centre, auction rostrum, signage and security.
“A few vehicles have already arrived on site for the first sale, and we expect to be fully operational by the end of April.”
The Goole site will host its first LCV sale on 27 March at 10:30am.
The site will grow to running two auctions per week by the summer and selling 12,000 used LCVs per annum.
The Bawtry site will return to hosting specialist auctions for its customers and will accommodate any additional vehicle storage needs.
